Our major project in Redhill, Surrey was the first landfill in Europe to be awarded certification to the European Community Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS).
Biffa have secured the independently assessed environmental quality standard of ISO 14001 on very long term Local Authority contracts. We also apply ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 certification disciplines to relevant company activities.
