Making it easier for your school to recycle its waste

The WRAP recommendations for Local Education Authorities and schools are clear:

• You should ensure that recycling containers are located in appropriate places - and that school maintenance staff are trained in how to manage the waste.

• You should recycle as much as possible, as well as making sure that school staff and students understand what can be recycled and the benefits that result from recycling.

• LEAs should facilitate the sharing of experience and recycling rates achieved between schools.
