At Westmill Landfill Site we operate an open door policy. We welcome requests from interested parties and neighbours to visit the site or to discuss any aspect of the operations. Most requests for visits can be accommodated within 24–48 hours and when site management are available but occasionally we may need more time. We will endeavour to respond quickly to all enquiries and will respond to written communications within 10 working days.
We participate in local liaison group meetings. These are typically held every 2-3 months and are attended by local councillors, representatives of the planning authority and the Environment Agency, CEMEX (the operators of the sand and gravel extraction) and representatives from the local community.
