Graduate roles
Finance Graduate Scheme
Responsibilities cover ensuring compliance with tax regulations, reconciling fixed assets and expenditures across the Biffa business group, including completion of 3 year CIMA qualification.
Procurement Graduate Scheme
Responsibilities managing our Biffa suppliers, managing tenders and contract negotiations and understanding divisional spend across the Biffa group.
Operations Graduate Scheme (Muni)
Responsibilities to ensure operations fulfil contract obligations, also to the satisfaction of both the Client and the Company whilst remaining within the constraints of financial targets, Company procedures and requirements of the Contract.
Data Analysts Graduate Scheme
Responsibilities designing, testing and delivering enterprise systems for the wider business.
Commercial Graduate Scheme
Responsibilities to support, retain and negotiate contracts with local authorities and assisting with mobilising, introducing and developing our service.
Engineer Graduate Scheme
Support teams in manufacturing improvement projects and capital projects including efficiency improvement projects, lean manufacturing initiatives, operator training and coaching and commissioning of new equipment.
Apprenticeship roles
Driver Apprenticeships
Designed to support our Loader population to become professional drivers by obtaining their HGV licence to move into driver positions collecting waste and maintaining safety standards.
HGV Technician Apprenticeships
Responsibilities include supporting our workshop teams on the tools to maintain and service our fleet.
Laboratory Technician Apprenticeships
Pathway programme to join our Chemist population by working in our sites and laboratories on rotation supporting all areas of hazardous waste services and processing.
IT Apprenticeship Schemes
