As Simpler Recycling introduces mandatory weekly food waste collections from April 2026, Binsight provides the accurate participation insight councils need to design efficient, targeted and future‑ready services.
How Binsight works
Sensors fitted to food waste bins capture when and where food caddies are presented at street level. The data is sent securely to the Contel platform and converted into clear participation insight, with a 99.8% accuracy rate, that local authorities can use to plan services, target engagement and improve performance.
