The Corporate Customer Hub has been designed with you in mind, including all the information you‘ve told us you want to see.
Whether it’s showcasing our fantastic collaboration with clients to help them achieve their sustainability goals, the latest news on the extensive waste legislation agenda and what it means for you, or how we’re working in communities to drive social value - we’ve got it covered. You’ll also be able to sign up for great thought leadership webinars on a range of value-add subjects – Keep an eye out for an invite to our forthcoming virtual conference fortnight in November to align with the really important COP26 summit in Glasgow!
Things have certainly changed over the last few years. If you had said to me five years ago that as well as the increasingly essential sustainability angle, central to any new business pitch would be how Biffa drives real social value I would have thought you were completely missing the point. Fast forward to now and you are completely missing the point if you don’t talk about our joint responsibilities around driving social value and how we can help and support our local communities!
Now, it’s a moral responsibility for any business, to not just focus on what they do, but to also look inwardly about how the work they do impacts communities and to go even further on what they can do to enhance the experience of people’ lives. At Biffa we take this incredibly seriously with driving Social Value an important cog in our Group Sustainability strategy. Whether it’s the work that our newly acquired business, Company Shop Group, do in reducing food waste through redistribution of unused food, our Community Shops which help eradicate food poverty in deprived areas or our BiffaAward funding of community playgrounds in deprived communities, we try and generate social value every single day.
We believe our strategy is shared by many of our customers and it is great to see so many stories about how we are all adding value to people’s lives through this commitment and investment.
