The issue of people in bins remains as relevant and important as it did when we launched our first report in 2014. This is an issue that requires constant vigilance and we as a company are committed to continuous improvement of industry practices and those of our customers to prevent tragic and unnecessary injuries and fatalities.
There needs to be a broader awareness of the dangers of seeking shelter in bins and the industry and its customers have an important role in spreading the word. This research and report re-examines the underlying causes of people in bins and reviews future steps.
